My study and research interests range from 20th-century international geopolitics to modern-day international relations; from 20th-century Italian political landscape to present-day political sociology. In addition, I pay particular attention to the national political landscape and, consequently, to the public policies produced by it.
Since May 2024, I have been managing the column "Forgotten Wars" published on the news site Real Clear - World. The goal is to analyze the geopolitical and strategic interests underlying conflicts that the major news outlets do not highlight.
